Thank you all for such an amazing end to the Swing Cats 2010 year! We appreciate everyone of you coming out and sharing your dancing with us!
But even though we are taking a short break before returning again during the Spring semester doesn't mean you have to stop learning more lindy moves!
While bumming around on iTunes the other day I ran across a really great FREE podcast called "Move of the day" which everyday sends you a free mini lesson teaching you one new lindy/swing move. They also have a great website where you can accesses all their old instructional videos for free as well. (They are asking for a minimal $5 donation if you like the videos witch seems more than fair to me). There are some awesome moves tucked away in there so be sure to check it out, learn them and then you can show them off when SwingCats comes back on January 18th!

Swing Cats T-Shirts Coming Soon!
I know this is has been a long time in coming but we've finally ordered more Swing Cat's T-shirts! If you are interested in purchasing one they are $10 for Swing Cats members and $15 for non members. If you want a particular size you'll want to shoot Rain Bidleman (our Treasurer and shirt designer) an e-mail on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/rainb) and prepay for your shirt. If you don't pre-order a size we can't guarantee we'll have your size when you come to get one. After they are done being printed we'll have them available for pick-up/purchase at Swing Cats every Tuesday.
Here's what they are going to look like!

*EDIT*
I am currently sorta obsessed with this video of the 6-13yr old competition from the US Open Swing Dance Championships... on one hand I am amazed that an under 13 year old girl can move like that, and on the other hand extremely jealous that at around 10 years old she is probably better then I'll every be lol...
